The Disaster-Focused Digital Twin project has now received a total of five awards, including:

  • Third place at the IDC Türkiye CIO Summit 2024,
  • First place at the Seoul Smart City Prize 2024,
  • Second place at the IDC Türkiye DX Summit 2024, and
  • First place at the Global CIO Project of the Year 2025.

What is the Digital Twin Project?

The Digital Twin Project integrates environmental, transportation, security, and energy data from the city into a virtual model. Using AI-powered analyses and 3D simulations, it evaluates potential disaster scenarios in advance. This enables risk reduction during disasters, efficient resource management, and coordinated crisis response.

The project serves as a global model for building safer cities, offering a roadmap for making cities more resilient and prepared for disasters.
