Constructing 10 metro lines at the same time, we have employed over 15,000 people in our projects. We are bringing to life metro lines that were previously halted due to financial and project issues.

65.1 kilometers We completed 65.1 kilometers of new metro lines

We are continuing the construction of 8 new lines, totaling 62.1 kilometers. With 10 metro projects under construction, we have become the city building the most metro lines simultaneously in the world.

1.55 billion euros We secured 1.55 billion euros in funding.

We overcame obstacles and resumed the construction of halted lines. We will continue to provide Istanbulites with better and higher-quality transportation services through rail systems.

49 Bridge Crossings

The total distance of the metro lines we completed and are currently constructing is equivalent to crossing the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge 49 times.

This includes two lines initially built by the Ministry and later transferred to IMM. These lines were funded from IMM revenues, with vehicles provided and operated by IMM in just 10 months.

1 Metro Line Opening Soon

This new line, built by the Ministry and scheduled for transfer to the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, will be funded by IMM revenues, with vehicles provided and operated by IMM.

Istanbul Produces Its Own Metro Vehicles

As we celebrate the 100th anniversary of our Republic, with the TRAM34 project, we are beginning to produce our own metro vehicles. Designed, engineered, and manufactured by IMM’s Metro Istanbul, these vehicles will be Turkiye’s first domestic rail system vehicles with a 60% localization rate.
